Position Summary
Messing Roofing & Construction is seeking a highly organized and driven Construction Superintendent to oversee residential roofing, siding, and gutter installation projects. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple projects and trades daily while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously from start to finish
Coordinate and schedule roofing, siding, and gutter crews across multiple job sites daily
Utilize AccuLynx for job scheduling, material ordering, and project tracking
Order materials and ensure timely delivery to keep projects moving quickly
Travel to job sites to monitor progress, enforce quality standards, and ensure safety compliance
Supervise subcontractor crews and ensure work meets company expectations
Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners throughout the project lifecycle
Prioritize and adjust schedules in real time to meet tight deadlines and production goals
Conduct final inspections to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Collect, review, and submit invoices, photos, and job documentation accurately
Address warranty issues quickly and ensure timely resolution
Qualifications
Project Management Experience Required – ability to manage multiple fast‑moving projects at once
Must thrive in a fast‑paced environment with quick turnaround times
Experience coordinating multiple trades daily (roofing, siding, gutters, etc.)
Strong Computer Skills Required – experience with AccuLynx or similar systems preferred
Construction Background Required – exterior trades strongly preferred
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly to changing schedules
Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Experience supervising subcontractors or crews
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites daily
