
Tariff Pricing Analyst

Join our Tariff Pricing team and play a critical role in shaping the future of the electric grid. We develop Transmission Rates that ensure fair compensation for Transmission Owners while supporting a reliable and efficient energy system. We're looking for an analytical thinker with strong initiative—someone who thrives on solving complex problems and digging deep into data to uncover insights.
Essential Capabilities & Responsibilities
Review and analyze Transmission Owner financial data and validate against publicly available data
Investigate complex inquiries from market participants and provide clear, data-driven solutions
Apply critical thinking to define problems, evaluate options, and recommend actionable solutions
Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities
Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and transparency
High emotional intelligence
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions, policies, and procedures
Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision
Ability to provide excellent customer experience to both internal and external clients
Complete all other duties as assigned
Experience in energy or utility industry preferred
Education / Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
Technical Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to communicate insights effectively
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly
Physical Demands
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a personal computer and to move intermittently throughout the workday
Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, hearing, dexterity, and color perception
Ability to remain alert and awake during an entire assigned shift
