Job Summary:
QC is seeking a creative and motivated Intern – Marketing & Communications to support a variety of initiatives across marketing, communications, and brand/graphic design. This role is ideal for an individual with experience in Adobe Illustrator and video editing who is eager to gain hands‑on experience and further develop their skills in a collaborative environment.
The intern will work closely with the Manager – Marketing & Communications and the Specialist – Graphic Design on a range of projects, contributing to impactful branding and communication efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their experience and build a strong foundation in marketing and design.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Organization and editing of the video library (to include front and end cards, logos, b‑roll etc.)
Implementing revision dates on marketing materials (flyers, posters, forms, etc.) in Adobe Illustrator
Development of signage for selected locations using pre‑existing templates
Implement graphic design elements (including our guiding principles) to add graphic elements to pre‑existing posters and flyers templates
Work in Photoshop to update photography with correct decals
Accurate file naming on all photos across all photo libraries
Reviewing our internal and external websites for functionality, and overall user experience on click‑throughs
Required Skills/Abilities:
Requires course in marketing and communications and Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
High degree of creativity with an intermediate skill level in digital design.
Knowledge of digital marketing, campaign creation, and video editing (Adobe Premier Pro)
Analytical and critical thinking mindset for project management, scheduling and overall coordination of tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in all Google and MS Office applications.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma;
4th‑year undergraduate student or recent graduate
Preferably some internship and/or work experience in the field
Some video photography editing experience
Some graphic software experience (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/Adobe Premier Pro)
Some copywriting experience
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‑time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
