About the Role We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Lender who combines production capability with strong agricultural knowledge to serve and grow our rural markets. This role is ideal for an Ag Lender, Relationship Manager, Loan Officer, or Credit Professional with real agricultural exposure who understands both the business of agriculture and the importance of long‑term, trusted relationships.
You’ll work directly with farmers, producers, and agribusiness owners—building relationships, structuring sound credit solutions, and serving as a trusted financial partner. This position operates with meaningful autonomy and is well‑suited for professionals comfortable working independently in rural, relationship‑driven markets.
What You’ll Do
Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of agricultural lending relationships
Proactively originate new business through community involvement, referrals, and local presence
Structure, underwrite, and close agricultural loans including:
Operating lines of credit
Term loans
Analyze borrower financials, cash flow, collateral, and repayment capacity
Write clear, well‑supported credit narratives and loan presentations
Manage portfolio performance, including renewals, modifications, and risk monitoring
Build strong internal partnerships with credit and operations teams
Represent the bank at community, agricultural, and industry events
Strong working knowledge or hands‑on experience with one or more of the following:
Row crop operations
Cattle and livestock
General farm operations and ag cash‑flow cycles
Who This Role Is For This position is targeted to professionals with real agricultural lending or ag finance experience, including:
Relationship Managers or Commercial Lenders with ag portfolios
Loan Officers with production responsibility
Credit Analysts or Credit Professionals with direct agricultural exposure
Candidates with Farm Credit, community bank, or regional bank backgrounds
Credit‑focused professionals are encouraged to apply if they bring meaningful ag exposure and are relationship‑oriented or interested in expanding production responsibilities.
What You Bring

Lending, credit, or relationship management background
Strong understanding of agricultural operations and rural economies
Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships
