HPA is seeking a Project Designer with a strong architectural background and solid AutoCAD proficiency (Revit is a plus) to join our Irvine team. This role focuses on industrial site planning and building layout design, with a strong emphasis on zoning research and coordination with city planning departments. We’re looking for someone who can manage multiple active projects, develop code-compliant sites and building layouts, and support the early design and entitlement phases of industrial developments under the direction of a supervising architect. Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine site plans and building layouts for industrial projects, per supervisor's concept Perform zoning research and work to interpret and apply development standards. Support Project Architects with entitlement phases of design and documentation. Prepare and manage drawing sets using AutoCAD daily. Coordinate project data, including building areas, parking requirements, site coverage, and setbacks. Assist with submittals and entitlement-related documents. Strong communication skills in coordinating with city officials, clients, and internal team members. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required. 3-10 years of experience in architectural design or planning. Strong AutoCAD skills required; daily use expected. Experience with site and building layout design and understanding of zoning code applications. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with entitlement processes and coordination with city agencies is a plus. Revit proficiency is a plus, along with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and related tools. Why HPA:
