
Marketing Communications Specialist

Our client is a family-owned wine company with multiple estate-driven brands, sourcing fruit from some of the Central Coast’s premier vineyards. They are seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to help promote their wines, experiences, and brand story.
Role Description The Marketing Communications Specialist works under the direction of the Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications to promote winery products, services, and experiences. The Specialist supports marketing efforts across all platforms, plans and produces print and digital content, implements and executes email and social media marketing campaigns, and supports consumer and trade events. The goal of this role is to build connection with winery audiences and drive engagement with our portfolio of brands.
What You’ll Be Doing
Create and manage content across email, social media, website, and print
Support content calendar planning and campaign execution
Capture and produce photo/video content showcasing the winery, team, and vineyards
Execute email marketing campaigns and manage audiences (Mailchimp or similar)
Manage and grow social media presence across key platforms
Design and coordinate print materials (menus, signage, event collateral)
Maintain organized digital assets and marketing materials inventory
Support website updates (WordPress) and DTC platforms (WineDirect, Commerce7, etc.)
Assist with brand presence across Google, Yelp, Tock, and partner platformsHelp coordinate and execute events, including setup and marketing support
What They’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or content creation
Strong writing skills—you can adapt tone and tell a compelling story
Comfortable juggling multiple projects without things slipping
Experience with WordPress, email platforms, and social media tools
Bonus points for Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or wine/CPG experience
The Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional event support
Location: On-site, San Luis Obispo County Area
