Brief Description Redbridge works hand in hand with treasurers and CFOs of large corporates in an effort to innovatively optimize their cash management, payments and financing strategies. We have offices in Paris, Houston, Chicago, New York, Geneva, and London.

In the US we have an Enterprise focus (companies > $1bn in annual revenue) with a dedicated advisory platform for our payment (credit card intake) and cash management (PCM) solutions. We optimize fees and services related to payments, foreign exchange trading, and bank account / cash management for these large corporates through persistent analysis, market comparison, structuring, negotiation, and intermediation of banking and payment relationships.

We are seeking a driven and energetic Business Development Manager to expand our US Enterprise client base and drive sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self‑starting, goal‑oriented individual with strong commercial skills and the desire to build a business development career in a growing sector and firm. You must be passionate about delivering outstanding client value, working collaboratively with colleagues and transforming Redbridge into the undisputed payments and cash management advisory services market leader.

The position will ideally be based in either our Houston or New York Chicago Offices.

Key Responsibilities Your primary objective is to engage with, convert and develop a portfolio of Large Cap clients. This will involve initiating and establishing meaningful relationships with key decision makers across Large Cap client treasury and finance organizations.

You will have a defined sales territory, and will collaborate closely with Product colleagues and other internal teams to ensure prospects are moving through the sales funnel efficiently and ensure Salesforce is kept up to date at all times. Growing your own pipeline is a critical component to this role.

General Responsibilities

Engage with your client portfolio to generate payment and cash management engagement opportunity meetings

Prepare client presentation decks for client meetings using our standard templates and set up internal prep meetings prior to each key client meeting

Collaborate with Product colleagues and involve them in key sales pipeline stages

Articulate and persuasively communicate the full range and benefits of Redbridge’s payments and cash management advisory and reporting services and capabilities to prospective clients

Guide each prospect through the full sales opportunity, while updating our CRM timely.

Effectively address client objections during meetings and with follow up marketing materials and client references. Escalate internally as necessary and leverage your colleagues for innovative ways to overcome objections.

Prepare proposals and contracts in close collaboration with Product teams and Legal, using Redbridge’s pricing grid

Post‑sales: Attend key delivery meetings and engage with clients to strengthen relationships and identify cross‑sale opportunities

Partner with Delivery teams and engage with client to help manage any delivery related challenges

Populate and keep up to date all invoicing, KPI and call report information in our CRM (Salesforce) and manage the overall sales process to ensure timely client conversion across sales pipeline stages

Keep sales colleagues and Marketing up to date on re‑emerging trends and opportunities and provide with Marketing content suggestions and work with Marketing for content production

Coordinate and collaborate with Marketing to ensure effective campaigns and proper lead follow‑up

Participate in and actively engage with prospects at conferences and client events

Support US Business Development Head in creating productive, professional relationships with strategic key treasury and finance leaders in large, global companies

Develop thought leadership assets to support sales pipeline growth.

Continuously improve product knowledge in relevant areas by attending Product training

Always put client interests first and report any possible conflicts of interest and adhere to Redbridge methods and processes as well as all legal and regulatory guidelines, including client confidentiality

Required Competencies

Demonstrates executive presence

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role

Minimum of 5 years of experience with banking / treasury products

Ability to autonomously generate leads

Adept at and comfortable with making cold calls

Professional, articulate and persuasive communication style

Active listener with an ability to “connect the dots” to identify opportunities

High energy, diligent, organized and self‑motivated

Team player – works well and collaboratively with all colleagues from sales, product, and other areas – with a competitive mindset

Curious with a desire to learn

Undergraduate / post graduate education

Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

Expert capabilities with Salesforce

Experience selling consultative financial services to Chief Financial Officers, Treasurers and Treasury staff of large/mid‑market corporations

Experience working in a Commercial / Corporate Bank, Financial Advisory firms, Rating Agency or Financial Software firm
