Job Details We are seeking a Sales Lawyer with a strong background in business, corporate, technology or AI to join our team in the tech startup world. This role combines sales with law, creating an opportunity to drive growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
Connect with other attorneys in the industry, helping to structure deals, identify risks, and propose creative solutions.
Stay updated on relevant legal developments in the tech industry, including laws and regulations related to AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
Collaborate with various internal teams, including product, engineering, and finance, to ensure that sales meet the company's business goals.
Develop and implement legal training programs for the sales and business development teams.
Assist in the development and refinement of the company's sales policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 1+ year of experience as a practicing lawyer, with a focus on business/corporate/technology transactions.
Membership in good standing with a state bar.
Deep understanding of the tech industry, including knowledge of AI, software licensing, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
