ProSidian Seeks a Senior Consultant | Financial Professional in CONUS - Washington, DC 2021 (Plus Work Remotely) to support an engagement for a branch of the federal government that prints all paper currency and mints all coins, collects all federal taxes, managed U.S. government debt instruments, licenses and supervises banks and institutions, and advises the legislative and executive branches on matters of fiscal policy. The Treasury Office for Asset Forfeiture (TEOAF) is a subset agency of the U.S. Department of the Treasury responsible for administering the Treasury Forfeiture Fund (TFF), the receipt account for the deposit of non-tax forfeitures made by member agencies. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide a variety of support services to the Treasury Executive Office for Asset Forfeiture (TEOAF) including, but not limited to, Financial Management and Operations, Strategic Planning and Analysis, Auditing Services, General and Real Property Support, and Compliance and Risk Management Support. Senior Consultant | Financial Professional Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and Provide financial, strategic, analytical, investigative, and operational support to TEOAF and its TFF Programs. The Senior Consultant | Financial Professional shall work as part of the contract team providing a variety of financial services to include financial management, strategic planning and analysis support, audit support, compliance review and risk management, financial technical assistance, and contract review. The ideal candidate will work with other Team members to provide deliverables and reports in a timely manner to the client, and provide ad-hoc support across TFF programs and TEOAF offices. Qualifications
The Senior Consultant | Financial Professional - Human Capital shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined. Financial Professional with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience, functional and technical, in the following subject areas: Asset forfeiture Performance assessment Financial management and planning Federal and/or state level prosecutorial support The ideal candidate must also have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, managerial, functional and technical, in the following subject areas: Operations improvement Program management Risk management and compliance Technical experience specific to the field of asset forfeiture must include the following: Experience with complex financial investigations Analysis of financial records Supporting federal and/or state level prosecutions Preparing reports and complex reviews of financial data Forensic accounting A high degree of familiarity with federal forfeiture statutes, trends and policies dealing with asset forfeiture, auditing and analysis of processes, procedures and compliance, risk management, inventory testing and record keeping and invoicing and payments. Candidates may have additional experience to include subject matter expertise in the bank secrecy act and its anti-money laundering regulation requirements and software utilized by the banking industry. Successful candidates must also demonstrate experience with independent performance of required work assignments, process mapping and workflow documentation, work plan development, system requirements analysis; evidence of effective communication skills, broad software skills and the ability to execute high level written communications and documentation.
