Construction Superintendent

We're looking for a skilled Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on construction experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
• Supervise all field activities and manage on-site construction crews
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship
• Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to plan daily operations
• Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks
• Maintain detailed daily logs and progress reports
• Identify and resolve construction issues and conflicts in the field
• Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment logistics
• Communicate project status and issues to Project Manager
• Ensure proper documentation of as-built conditions
• Manage punch list items and project closeout activities
Qualifications
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on construction experience with at least 3 years in supervisory role
• Extensive knowledge of commercial construction methods and best practices
• Experience with ground-up construction, tenant fit-outs, and renovations
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• Excellent leadership and crew management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience with hospitality, retail, or restaurant construction preferred
• Proficiency with construction management software and mobile tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
