
Digital Advocacy & Influence Intern

Position Overview
The Digital Advocacy & Influence team partners with political candidates, advocacy organizations, companies, associations, and nonprofits to enlist supporters, fundraise, mobilize, and move public opinion.
The intern will work under the Digital Advocacy & Influence team in developing and executing digital fundraising and advocacy campaigns. This role is ideal for someone interested in political communications, progressive advocacy, and data-driven messaging. The intern will contribute to the creation, deployment, and analysis of fundraising and advocacy emails and SMS while collaborating closely with team members across campaign strategy and content.
Key Responsibilities
Help draft emails and SMS for political candidates, advocacy organizations, and nonprofit partners
Help code content in HTML within multiple CRMs
Track and analyze email fundraising performance, compiling reports that identify high-performing language, messaging strategies, and emerging trends
Participate in daily team stand-up meetings and weekly company-wide meetings to stay aligned on campaign priorities and organizational updates
Collaborate with the paid media team on select projects, including content ideation and creative support for digital advertising campaigns
Qualifications
Strong writing skills, particularly in persuasive or campaign-style communication
Interest in Democratic politics, public affairs, and advocacy campaigns
Exceptional attention to detail
