The Marketing Events Specialist – Microsoft Solutions supports the planning and execution of Microsoft‑focused marketing events that align to SHI’s Microsoft solutions, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, Modern Work, Data & AI, and Copilot. This role is execution‑focused and works closely with senior event, campaign, and Microsoft alliance stakeholders to deliver high‑quality experiences across industry events, internal SHI events, virtual events, and Immersion briefings. The specialist helps ensure events are well‑coordinated, solution‑oriented, and supported by strong pre‑ and post‑event marketing. Role Description

Microsoft Event Execution & Support Support the planning and execution of Microsoft‑focused in‑person, virtual, and hybrid events, including: Webinars and virtual workshops Industry conferences and third‑party events SHI‑hosted internal and customer events Customer roundtables and executive briefings Assist in aligning events to Microsoft solution areas, GTM motions, and fiscal priorities Maintain event project plans, timelines, and execution checklists Coordinate logistics such as: Registration and attendee management Virtual platforms and tools AV, venues, and vendors (as needed) Partner with the SHI Events team and field marketing to ensure smooth execution Partner with Microsoft marketing and solution teams to ensure events are solution‑led and scenario‑based Industry, Internal & Virtual Events Focus Support SHI’s presence at industry events and conferences, including: Coordinating marketing deliverables Supporting onsite or virtual logistics Assisting with messaging and attendee engagement Help execute internal SHI Microsoft events, such as sales enablement sessions, internal briefings, and solution showcases Support virtual events such as webinars and immersion briefings, ensuring consistency in experience, messaging, and follow‑up Surround Marketing & Event Promotion Execute surround marketing tactics for Microsoft events, including: Pre‑event promotion (email, landing pages, calendar invites, Microsoft co‑sell support) In‑event engagement and calls‑to‑action Post‑event follow‑up and sales handoff support Coordinate with campaign, digital, and field marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging Help align events to broader Microsoft solution campaigns when applicable Measurement, Reporting & Process Track and report on basic event metrics, including: Registrations and attendance Engagement indicators Leads captured and follow‑up status Maintain event calendars, documentation, and reporting trackers Follow established marketing workflows, approvals, and partner processes Identify opportunities to improve event execution efficiency and consistency Behaviors and Competencies

Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity Proficient in video conferencing platforms, hosting virtual meetings, and troubleshooting common issues Ability to manage and maintain confidential information Familiarity with Concur and other airline carrier tools for travel management CRM software proficiency to manage and analyze customer interactions and data Other Requirements

Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience 2-4 years of experience in a similar role 2-4 years of experience working with sales organizations and/or senior level executives Ability to travel 20% Ability to work flexible hours Ability to work weekends The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
