Position Title: Athletic Director
Department/Location: East High School
Anticipated Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
Job Classification: Select Employee (Exempt)
Reports to: High School Principal
Supervises: Athletic and Extra‑Curricular Staff
Position Summary The Athletic Director provides organizational and operational leadership for athletic and extra‑curricular opportunities for all students. Attendance at evening activities is required.
Qualifications
Certification as a secondary school administrator, athletic director, recreation administrator, or equivalent work and/or teaching experience.
About the District The Wauwatosa School District (WSD) is a high‑achieving, forward‑thinking, and richly diverse public school district serving about 7,000 students and their families. It includes nine elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, two choice schools, two alternative schools, four alternative programs and services, the Wauwatosa Recreation Department, and a district office.
East High School serves approximately 1,046 students. The Athletic Director position will begin July 1, 2026.
