Benji is recruiting on behalf of a 25-person performance marketing agency that runs paid media on Meta and Google for 60+ regional and multi-location service brands. The company has recently crossed a major milestone, with 40%+ revenue growth already locked in from committed clients this year. The CEO is hiring a strategic operator to build the systems and operational backbone needed to double the business. This role reports directly to the CEO and leads a team of 9–10 across delivery, creative, and client services (a mix of on-site and remote team members).
The Mission (First 12 Months)
Standardize workflows across onboarding, fulfillment, and client services to eliminate tribal knowledge.
Build KPI dashboards for capacity planning, team utilization, and client health scoring.
Improve gross margin predictability through stronger resource planning and scope management.
Own and optimize the tech stack, including HubSpot, project management, and reporting.
Mentor team leads, install accountability systems, and free up the CEO.
Who You Are
5+ years leading ops in a digital marketing agency or professional services environment.
Experience managing a P&L or owning gross margin targets — not just tracking KPIs, but using them to drive decisions.
Proven experience managing hybrid teams (on-site and remote) of 8+ people.
Strong familiarity with HubSpot and modern project management platforms (Monday, Asana, ClickUp, or similar).
A builder mindset: you've created processes, SOPs, or dashboards from scratch.
