Director of Finance and Human Resources

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Human Resources to oversee all aspects of financial operations and HR functions. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and corporate accounting, while also managing payroll, recruiting, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial systems, along with leadership experience in both finance and HR. As a Director of Finance and Human Resources, You Will: Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial projections Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth Oversee corporate accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable Review and approve financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies Manage financial systems and tools for planning, budgeting, and reporting Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute financial strategies Build and maintain relationships with auditors and external stakeholders Oversee all HR functions including payroll, recruiting, hiring, employee relations, and performance management Manage benefits administration and support overall employee lifecycle processes Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required Minimum of 6+ years of Accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Background in corporate accounting, including AP/AR Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience working in a fast-paced environment CPA certification preferred Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(K) with company match Health savings account Paid Time Off Retirement plan Life insurance Salary: $100K-$120K Ask for: Hersha Dwyer Job Id: 26112 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
