Swoon is hiring: Art Director in Chicago

I'm working with a major American Airline, looking to hire a Sr. Graphic Designer!

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL - 1x a week onsite

Contract Duration: 3 month contract

Hourly rate: $59-64/hr

About this role:

• Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video and sound.
• Review and approve proofs of printed copy and art and copy materials developed by staff members.
• Manage own accounts and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements.
• Confer with creative, art, copy-writing, or production department heads to discuss client requirements and presentation concepts, and to coordinate creative activities.
• Present final layouts to clients for approval.
• Confer with clients to determine objectives, budget, background information, and presentation approaches, styles, and techniques.

Experience:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design or related field
• 5+ years of professional design experience within a large corporate environment
• Heavy brand design experience, including visual identity development and brand system execution
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Event and experiential design experience is nice to have
