This hybrid role is based in Auburn Hills, MI, and candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the area. About the Role Hybrid schedule: Typically, 1 day/week onsite. Certain projects may require consecutive days or weeks onsite at the training center. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Type: Long-term, ongoing contract with potential future permanent consideration. Anticipated to last multi-year. Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Work with a world-class automotive manufacturer on impactful, technician-focused training Inclusive, diverse culture and a collaborative, supportive team environment PTO and generous paid holidays, along with medical, dental, 401K What You’ll Do Develop automotive technical training curriculum: instructor-led, eLearning, microlearning, job aids, and quick reference guides Create storyboards, scripts, and multimedia-ready content Design engaging course components using graphics, audio, and video Convert complex technical material into clear, compelling learning experiences Evaluate training effectiveness and apply improvements Stay current with evolving industry trends, learning tech, and best practices What You Need to Bring Ideally someone from a 4-year automotive tech school with some technical writing ability or Instructional Design / Training Development background Understanding of automotive components and systems Experience with Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred) Ability to write instructional text, scripts, and multimedia-ready content Ability to work within an LMS (Cornerstone experience a plus) Knowledge of adult learning principles Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills Team-oriented mindset Ability to travel periodically (approx. 2–3 weeks/year, some will not travel at all) About ManpowerGroup ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN) is the leading global workforce solutions company.
