Social Media Coordinator
Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT, United States
Overview We’re a legacy sports nutrition brand in our comeback era — reemerging through experiential activations, gym takeovers, pop-ups, and athlete-led moments that bring the brand back into culture. Social is where those moments scale, and creators are how they spread. We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who understands how IRL experiences, creators, and community come together online — and knows how to turn all of it into momentum.
Responsibilities Capture and create content at experiential activations, pop-ups, gym events, and brand takeovers
Film, edit, and publish short-form content across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
Schedule and manage multi-platform social posts, ensuring consistent cadence across channels
Maintain and update content calendars across platforms
Post in real time during events, launches, and key moments
Translate IRL energy into content that feels authentic, exciting, and culture-forward
Write bold, internet-aware captions
Creators and Influencers Support creator and influencer partnerships before, during, and after activations
Help identify creators, athletes, and ambassadors aligned with the brand and fitness culture
Coordinate content capture with creators at events and activations
Track creator deliverables, posting timelines, and usage rights
Repurpose creator content for brand channels (organic + paid)
Help build and manage our ambassador and creator community
Community and Reporting Engage daily with the community in comments and DMs
Monitor trends in fitness, sports nutrition, and creator culture
Track performance across platforms and help optimize content strategy
Collaborate closely with experiential, creative, influencer, and marketing teams
• 1–3 years into social media, content, or creator/influencer work
• Comfortable filming on your phone and editing fast (CapCut, Canva, Adobe, etc.)
• Deeply tapped into TikTok, Reels, and creator culture
• Into fitness, gyms, training, or performance culture
• Down to travel and work nights/weekends for events
• Organized enough to manage calendars, schedules, and deliverables
• Have worked with fitness creators, athletes, or ambassadors
• Know how to turn one activation into weeks of content
• Have experience with social scheduling tools (Sprout, Later, Hootsuite, etc.)
• Understand sports nutrition and supplement culture
• Can spot creator talent before it pops
