Responsible for developing and disseminating messages to empower and educate customers. Responsible to ensure consistent JEA customer communications supporting JEA customer solutions, events, community partnerships, products and services. Facilitate the strategic integration and dissemination of all JEA communications both internally and externally through all channels. Evaluate use of corporate identity by other departments / processes to ensure brand compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, develop and execute clear, consistent customer education communications that align with the JEA brand voice and manner.
Collaborate with others in the organization to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards for customer communications.
Coordinate organization-wide message and content generation.
Manage budgets related to specific communications.
Consult with leadership regarding organizational communication initiatives from initial conception to implementation.
Depending upon assignment may manage creation, production, and dissemination of printed publications.
Manage creation and selection of photography.
Create and coordinate production schedules and maintain ongoing relationships with graphic designers, printers, and photographers.
Collaboratively manage and coordinate creation and update of web-content; responsible for content-related protocols to keep web site up-to-date.
Provide leadership and example in meeting JEAs safety and wellness goals.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field, or equivalent experience.
AND
Experience : Five (5) years of successful experience with corporate or marketing communications preferably in a competitive environment.
OR
And equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
The minimum salary for this position is $76,500 annually. Compensation will be determined based on education, licenses, certifications, skills, experience, and alignment with salaries for similar roles within the organization.

The starting salary and whether the position uses a pay step plan are determined by education, licenses, certifications, skills, experience, and alignment with salaries for similar roles within the organization.
