NEW Director, Revenue Cycle Patient Accounting Opportunity
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Onsite)
Schedule: Full-time Days (Mon Fri)
Compensation: $100k $135k annually
Incentives: Up to $10K relocation assistance (eligible candidates)
Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Patient Accounting to lead and optimize all aspects of patient financial services. This role oversees billing, collections, and accounts receivable operations for both hospital and professional services, with a strong focus on Epic systems, operational efficiency, and revenue integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of patient accounting including billing, follow-up, payment posting, and A/R management
- Oversee Epic HB/PB workflows, claim submission, remittance processing, and work queues
- Monitor key revenue cycle metrics (A/R days, denial rates, clean claim rate, cash collections)
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and revenue optimization strategies
- Manage and mentor managers/supervisors; support staff training and development
- Collaborate with IT, compliance, and clinical teams to resolve billing issues and improve workflows
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and payer requirements
- Identify automation opportunities and enhance system integrations
- Oversee departmental budget and track financial performance
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in hospital and professional billing within an Epic environment
- Strong expertise in revenue cycle operations and patient accounting
- Proven leadership experience at the director level
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex workflows and drive operational improvements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field
