Summary
The Visual Merchandiser’s primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Visual Merchandising Teammates will contribute to profitability by taking charge of the visual appearance and shopability of the store using visual guidelines.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $17-$22/hr. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Ensure timely installation and properly install and remove window presentations and store promotion events, including packing, unpacking, and prepping all props while supporting visual direction.
Partner with store leadership to discuss and plan store layouts and creative design flow of merchandise, including product rotation and markdown placement.
Consistently communicate with leadership to strive for better business.
Educate Buckle leadership on the reasons driving visual strategies.
Display urgency when getting new product to the floor.
Assist guests and teammates as needed.
Strategically understand sales presentation, register, and iPad to help assist guests. Work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and the day of or day after Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Communicate any policy violations and teammate or guest concerns to Store Manager, District Manager, and/or Human Resources in a timely, confidential manner.
Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics, policies, procedures, and handbooks.
Fulfill the mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
The physical demands include standing, walking, use of hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and talking and hearing. The Teammate is occasionally required to sit. The physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom is required. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment is a retail store setting with moderate noise levels.
