Founding Account Executive (SF, Hybrid) — Break Into AE the Right Way

GTMRec is hiring on behalf of a venture-backed AI startup redefining how B2B companies handle RFPs and complex sales workflows.

This is a rare opportunity for top SDRs or early AEs to step into a true closing role — with ownership, mentorship, and real pipeline responsibility.

⚡ What you’ll do
  • Own the full sales cycle: outbound → discovery → close
  • Build pipeline from scratch through high-quality outbound
  • Work directly with founders to shape GTM strategy and sales motion
  • Close deals in the ~$20K–$40K ACV range
  • Help define the future sales org and playbook
  • Engage with GTM and Sales Engineering teams as core buyers

  • Top-performing SDRs/BDRs (1–2 yrs) ready to step into AE
  • OR early AEs (0–2 yrs) with strong outbound ability
  • Proven overperformance (quota, rankings, promotions)

💰 Comp & setup
  • $100K – $110K base (OTE ~$200K–$220K, 50/50 split)
  • Equity: 0.1% – 0.3%
  • 📍 San Francisco (hybrid, 3+ days in-office)
