Zorro Pecan Account Executive is responsible for driving sales of Zorro Pecans by building and managing relationships with store owners and buyers, primarily at trade shows, markets, and other industry related events. This role focuses on presenting product lines, securing new accounts, and growing repeat business with retail partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Zorro Pecans professionally at tradeshows, marketplaces, and buyer events, including setup, product display, sampling and teardown.
  • Proactively research and identify opportunities for Zorro to be showcased
  • Proactively engage store owners and buyers to present Zorro Pecan products and explain products, pricing, and provide any promotional materials.
  •  Identify, qualify, and close new wholesale accounts; follow up on leads generated at events and any inbound inquiries.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for retail customers; prospecting, product training, quoting, negotiating terms, and closing orders.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts by conducting regular check-ins, recommending assortments, suggesting reorders, and introducing, new items or seasonal items.
  • Track event sales performance and provide post show reports with insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate order entry, inventory availability, and on-time delivery for wholesale customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts, contacts, and activities within the sales system
  •  Collaborate with marketing on the development of sales materials for tradeshows, including spec sheets, price lists, and promotional materials.
  • Partner with Sunnyland Farms team during holiday season to grow corporate gifting

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, account executive, customer service, or outside sales role preferred
  • Strong relationship building skills and communication skills, with confidence approaching and presenting store owners and buyers in busy trade show environments.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to tradeshows, marketplaces, and customer locations, including some weekends.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
