: Graphic Designer (Mid-Level) – Federal Contractor (On-Site, Washington, DC)

RGM Incorporated is seeking a Graphic Designer to support a Washington, DC government agency. This role focuses on production design, layout, and supporting federal communications projects.

Position Details:

• Full-time, on-site (Washington, DC – NW)
• 5-year 1099 contract
• 40 hours per week
• Hourly rate: $39.50
• Candidates must reside in DC, Maryland, or Virginia

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience
• Experience supporting government or corporate clients (preferred)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating:
• Brochures, posters, and publications (books or reports)
• Infographics and social media graphics
• Multi-page layout work
• Proficient in:
• Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
• Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• Familiarity with accessibility best practices (Section 508 awareness a plus)
• Experience preparing files for print and digital distribution

Responsibilities:

• Support design and layout of print and digital materials
• Assist with production, formatting, and revisions
• Prepare files for production and delivery
• Collaborate with senior designers and project teams
