Position Summary:

Sabine Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Member Service Representative I to join our Strickland Drive Branch location. This role is responsible for assisting members with their financial needs, providing exceptional service, and promoting the Credit Union's products and services.

Key Responsibilities: Assist members with opening and closing accounts, processing transactions, and handling debit and credit card needs. Resolve member inquiries, problems, or complaints with professionalism and care; escalate to supervisor when necessary with recommendations. Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to enhance member relationships. Communicate with members in person and by phone to provide information about Credit Union offerings. Maintain accurate member account information in the computer system. Serve as a liaison between members and internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery. Monitor emails, complete required trainings, and stay informed on current promotions, products, and services. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer service experience preferred, especially in financial services. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
