Tech Service Rep
Perform daily technical support duties for customers as required. Duties and responsibilities include: Answer a high volume of phone calls in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Receive and process high volume of customer requests for serial number look up via telephone, fax, or electronic format, that must be done accurately and in a timely manner. Part number searches, part quoting price, and availability information. Research of bill of materials and blueprints using microfiche, hard copy, or internet. Research into acceptable replacement parts for obsolete or non-stock items. Other duties as assigned by the Executives of Aurora. Knowledge and skill requirements include: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent phone skills. Excellent problem solving and resolution skills. PC, Microsoft Word, Excel and basic computer knowledge. Attention to detail and task completion skills. Ability to read blueprints and bill of materials. Excellent task completion and follow-up skills. Prior industry experience including working knowledge of industry terminology and overview of components. High School Diploma or equivalent. Key metrics include: Contact chat/call availability time 90% Accuracy in quotes and pricing 95% NPS score 70 or higher Driving quote to order % trend by 5% Equal Opportunity Employer.
