Cutter Rebuild
This position is located in the Rebuild Department and involves welding and repairing metal components for industrial shredders. Responsibilities
Perform grinding and weld preparation on cutters using hand air grinder, following established procedures. Apply hard face welding to cutters. Grind profiles on cutters using hand air grinder and profile grinder. Operate air hoist and fork lift. Utilize cutting torch and propane for pre-heating. Check and verify the quality of all personal welds. Keep the work area clean and orderly. Identify cutter size and sweep size. Maintain welder, tip, gun, and hood. Clean parts before fabrication. Fabricate according to print specifications. Verify quality, size, and spacing of all final welds. Essential Skills
Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks using hand grinders and welders. Capability to consistently lift 50 lbs. Interest in metal working positions. Experience in general labor and heavy lifting. Knowledge of metal grinding and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable with overhead crane operations. Experience as a shop helper or weld helper. Why Work Here?

Work is conducted in a fabrication shop with exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally, there is exposure to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level is usually high. The day shift runs from 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential early starts at 5 am for additional hours. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
