Customer Account Executive

Department: Administration Reports To: Marketing Director Status: Non-Exempt Description: The Customer Account Executive is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers. This role focuses on understanding customers' needs, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to grow the business. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive sales, demonstrate a strong ability to develop and expand new business opportunities, and be willing to travel to engage directly with customers and explore new markets. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand goals, challenges, and business objectives to provide tailored solutions. Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth customer experience. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, distribution, etc.) to meet customer needs. Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities. Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and business updates with clients. Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in the CRM system. Stay up to date with company products/services and industry trends. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ years of experience in customer service role or sales experience Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: This is a hybrid position, so the availability to work remotely is possible. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. This is a smoke-free environment for safety reasons.
