Bilingual Warehouse Sales Associate - TX/ME/36060

A global food distribution company in the Irving, TX area is looking for a Warehouse Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have prior supermarket retail experience and knowledge of inventory control, as well as be able to safely work in a warehouse distribution center. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to: Work together with logistics team to provide assistance in inventory control-related matters Offload inbound shipments from carriers and handle stock in the warehouse
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, cherry-pickers and/or forklifts Requirements of the Warehouse Associate: Prior shipping/receiving experience with material handling and inventory control skills is a must Basic computer and data entry skills (Excel, Word, MS Office) Experience with logistics in a distribution center (shipping & receiving, material handling, inventory control highly desired) This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
