Job Description About the Role:
You’ll captain our fleet of 36’ Newton and 36’ Adventura, assist dive instructors, and have opportunities to lead dives or teach courses (for qualified PADI Pros). This is a hands‑on role, for someone who enjoys small island life, and thrives in a team environment.
What You’ll Do:
Captain dive boats safely and professional Assist with diver gear, tanks, and guest support Guide certified divers and snorkelers (for qualified PADI pros) Teach PADI courses (Discover Scuba through Rescue, if qualified) Maintain boats, fill tanks, and support compressor operations Deliver dive briefings, safety info, and environmental education Assist in projects as needed
Requirements:
USCG 50 Ton (or greater) Master’s License Passport & authorization to work in the U.S. Experience with single-screw inboards (outboard experience a plus) Strong communication and customer service skills Membership in a drug testing consortium (or willingness to join) PADI professional certification preferred not required Competitive wages & bonuses Free diving & training (at cost) Year-round work in a world‑class dive destination
