The Amazon Gift Cards Design team is committed to revolutionizing the gifting experience through advanced technology and thoughtfully designed experiences. We are seeking thoughtful, talented, and multi-faceted user experience designers who love empowering our customers with high-quality interaction and visual design and who are eager to bring their creative ideas and hard work to our team.
Responsibilities
Assist in research, the creation of scenarios, sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Visualize an experience in the abstract, gather relevant research data, break down complex use-cases, and help drive the vision into solid design deliverables.
Balance customer needs with high standards to deliver best-in-class design work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Embrace failure as part of the innovation process.
Collaborate with other designers and partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business counterparts to launch bar-raising experiences for customers around the world. Develop strong relationships with fellow designers and be willing to proactively collaborate.
Put the customer first and solve customer problems with a passion for compelling, elegant, yet simple designs, while maintaining an analytical mindset and precise execution.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver
Experience in prototyping
Knowledge of design process
Experience with visual design demonstrated through mockups and style guides
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a highly agile environment
Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and accessibility standards

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
