Job Description: Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify a Graphic Design & Web Publishing Manager to support a fast-paced communications team. This individual will play a key role in shaping digital content, managing web updates, and producing visually compelling materials that support research and thought leadership initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and strong project management skills.
Key Responsibilities Lead the creation of visual assets including reports, infographics, digital graphics, and promotional materials
Design layouts and templates for long-form publications using industry-standard design tools
Ensure all creative outputs align with established brand standards and visual guidelines
Maintain and update website content using a content management system, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Publish a variety of digital content such as articles, research pieces, event pages, and multimedia assets
Support development and distribution of email campaigns and newsletters
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance digital products and user experience
Optimize web content using tagging, metadata, and best practices for organization and visibility
Contribute creative ideas to expand audience engagement across digital platforms
Stay current on design trends, tools, and digital strategies to continuously improve output
Qualifications 4+ years of experience in graphic design and web publishing or digital communications
Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator and InDesign)
Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress
Familiarity with data visualization tools and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot or similar)
Excellent writing, editing, and multimedia content development skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
High attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience in nonprofit, public affairs, or agency environments is a plus
Additional Details Contract runs through October with potential for extension
Standard 40-hour workweek with potential for overtime based on business needs
Interview process may include multiple stages and could take additional time for scheduling and feedback
Candidates should be prepared to discuss relevant tools and platforms used in prior roles, including CMS, design software, and email systems
