About the Opportunity As the Junior Commercial Analyst, you support commercial visibility and analytics for equipment deployment and last-mile operations, focusing primarily on Topfill fleets for frac sand delivery and wellsite services. Working with the Senior Commercial Analyst, you maintain real-time Power BI dashboards covering equipment calendars, deployments, sand consumption, billing, and operational changes. You bridge Commercial, Field Operations, AR, and Engineering teams by tracking revenue assets, investigating billing issues, and supporting fleet performance reports and data quality.

This role offers strong growth in analytics ownership, cross-functional skills, and turning operational data into commercial insights.

Essential Functions

Equipment Calendar & Outlook Management Daily review ServiceMax for Topfill equipment changes (mobilizations, demobs, maintenance, relocations) and update the PBI Outlook dashboard. Incorporate commercial updates, perform data checks, and escalate discrepancies to the Senior Commercial Analyst.

Cross-Functional Coordination Attend weekly operations sync meetings with Field Operations and monthly AR reconciliation meetings. Capture notes, document changes, assist in preparing deployment outlooks, and help resolve billing variances.

Billing & AR Support Assist in responding to AR billing inquiries and disputes. Prepare and deliver monthly Topfill deployment files from PBI for billing validation.

Reporting & Analytics Monthly prepare sand volume tracking report by individual Topfill unit number from PBI sand consumption data and distribute to Engineering for performance review and optimization. Quarterly assist in preparing fleet deployment summary inputs for the board deck: compile raw data on quarter-over-quarter changes in equipment status and group into logical buckets (e.g., net adds, relocations, downtime categories) for review and formatting by the Senior Commercial Analyst.

Ad-Hoc Analysis & Process Improvement Support ad-hoc data analysis and what-if modeling as assigned. Help maintain PBI dashboards, document processes, and identify opportunities for automation. Identify and document repetitive manual tasks that may be candidates for future automation (e.g., ServiceMax → PBI data updates, report distribution)

Experience/Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI PL-300, Excel Associate) or demonstrated analytics coursework in lieu of advanced degree are welcomed. 1–2 years of exposure to field operations, equipment deployment, or wellsite services is preferred. Experience in commercial analytics, business operations, financial analysis, or related role. 1+ year working with Power BI (PBI) Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
