About the Firm A large-scale asset management company significant assets under management. About the Role The firm is looking for an Analyst to join the Portfolio Management Team. You'll be joining a nimble, experienced team tasked with overseeing and managing a portfolio consisting of directly originated and syndicated debt and equity investments. You'll work with the investment team to analyze financial performance, assist in diligence for amendments and add-ons, and complete quarterly fair market value processes. Primary Responsibilities Complete ongoing portfolio company monitoring including in-depth analysis of financial performance and covenant compliance reporting Serve as the primary contact for borrower financial reporting, covenant monitoring, and post-close credit activity Lead diligence, analysis, preparation, and presentation of all post-close amendments, restructurings, and add-on investments for existing portfolio companies Prepare materials for and present in monthly portfolio review and quarterly valuation meetings, including developing data-supported views on borrower performance and utilizing valuation tools to derive quarterly fair market values Work closely with investment research, operations, and investor relations teams to prepare recurring reports and ad hoc analysis on portfolio and fund performance Coordinate pre-close and funding processes with legal counsel, borrowers, and private equity sponsors Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 1-3 years' experience in public accounting, commercial banking, or advisory services Demonstrated knowledge of credit terms and structures, legal documentation, financial statement analysis, and projection modeling Working knowledge of datarooms, portfolio monitoring software, and information databases is beneficial Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
