Full-time Summer Nanny for a 3, 2 year old and a newborn

About the Family
We are a fun-loving family of five, Mom, Dad, two toddlers (ages 3 and 2), a newborn, and our friendly golden retriever. We live in Edina, MN, but spend our summers in Minnesota, where we are surrounded by close family and friends. We value kindness, respect and teamwork, and strive to create a positive, supportive environment for our children. Our days are filled with outdoor play, laughter and hosting playdates.
About You We seek a confident, engaging and proactive nanny who brings warmth and structure to their care. The ideal candidate has experience working with toddlers, especially ages 2 and 3, and is comfortable taking on a leadership role, setting clear boundaries and guiding positive behaviour. We value someone hands‑on and enthusiastic about daily activities, from park outings and swimming to bike rides with a strong focus on safety. A background or strong interest in teaching, particularly Montessori principles, is highly preferred, along with at least 3‑4 years of experience with young children. Daycare or early‑childhood classroom experience is a plus.
Job Duties
Assist with breakfast and snack preparation, diaper bag organisation and dressing the children in the morning.
Support Mom in getting one child out the door for an activity while engaging other children in age‑appropriate activities at home or out.
Oversee midday nap (12:30/1:00–3:00 pm); tidy common areas, put away laundry and handle dishes.
Prepare snacks and lead another activity after nap, including opportunities for outdoor play in the backyard.
Drive the children as needed; the family provides a vehicle for the nanny to use.
Qualifications
Engaging, safety‑focused, reliable and experienced.
Experience with toddlers, 3‑5 years of experience preferred.
Background in early‑childhood education or Montessori principles a plus.
Schedule Starting June 15th. Monday‑Friday, 8 am – 4 pm for 35 hours per week. Ending August 28th.
Pay Starting at $25 per hour.
