Position Overview
Are you a data professional with a strong technical foundation and a passion for enabling AI-driven insights? Iron Mountain is seeking a Commercial Analytics Analyst to support our global growth strategy by transforming complex data into tactical tools that help us win new customers and deepen existing relationships.
As an integral member of the Global Marketing team, you will focus on the hands‑on execution of data analysis initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting a holistic intelligence platform across customer, market, and competitive intelligence programs. You will work with both structured and unstructured data to build and maintain models that predict competitor moves, quantify customer value, and identify churn drivers.
Working within a collaborative team, you will provide the technical engine for various commercial programs, including propensity to buy, account health scoring, market segmentation, and competitor tracking. Your role will focus on implementing analysis methods, ensuring data quality, and deploying AI‑driven solutions that provide clear answers to critical business questions.
Key Accountabilities
Technical Execution: Act as a primary technical lead for data streams within Customer, Market, and Competitive Intelligence programs, transforming raw data into usable intelligence.
Advanced Analytics: Apply AI‑enabled techniques and statistical modeling to first and third‑party data to identify market dynamics and customer behavior trends.
Customer Journey Analysis: Analyze post‑sales customer experience data to report on performance across the customer journey, helping to identify and quantify drivers of NPS and organic growth.
Model Maintenance: Support the development and daily management of key analytics programs such as Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Account Health, and Propensity to Buy.
Platform Operations: Maintain an AI‑enabled competitor tracking platform, ensuring that the platform is delivering timely and accurate analysis of competitor pricing, features, and strategies for GTM team users.
Data Synthesis: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable dashboards and reports for commercial stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Support the continual maturing of data tools and AI methods (e.g., LLM orchestration, RAG) to enhance the efficiency of insights across the organization.
Qualifications
Education: BA/BS in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in a data analysis or data science role, preferably within a large business or technology agency.
Domain Knowledge: Experience supporting or working within competitive intelligence, market research, or customer experience (CX) functions in a B2B environment.
Technical Expertise: Hands‑on statistical programming experience with Python or R.
Proficiency in data analysis methodologies: predictive modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.
Familiarity with AI techniques, including LLM orchestration and RAG (experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Vertex AI is a plus).
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business problems and design technical projects to solve them.
Project Management: Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
Vendor Support: Ability to work effectively with external vendor partners to ensure data delivery is on‑time and accurate.
Communication: Clear communication skills with the ability to project professionalism when presenting technical findings to teammates and stakeholders.
