Clean Energy Senior Specialist: E-Mobility Tech, Design & Tools

The Senior Specialist for E‑Mobility Tech, Design & Tools is responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations of E‑Mobility program tools. The Senior Specialist will also oversee development and implementation of enhancements and additional functionality as needed to drive program success. The Senior Specialist will be responsible for: Operations of Con Edison’s existing and new e‑mobility portals and tools for both internal and external user functionality. Crafting actionable recommendations that support measurable program or user‑experience improvements to existing portals and tools. Overseeing implementation of updates to or creation of expanded program platforms and tools.

Responsibilities Core Responsibilities

Manage ongoing operations of Con Edison programs, services, and IT tools to ensure programmatic success and efficiencies, while also leading data analysis efforts and developing data visualization dashboards (i.e. PowerBI) to support internal reporting and regulatory compliance.

Support identification, prioritization, and fulfillment of the E‑Mobility team’s ongoing business needs related to program portals, services, tools, dashboards, and other company systems used to implement the programs and services.

Collaborate with all E‑Mobility teams to align systems, maintain program continuity, find data collection gaps, and implement solutions.

Manage troubleshooting, improvements, and implementation of new functionality for program portal and tool integrations with other systems.

Lead projects to develop new functionality, systems, and tools for current and future E‑Mobility programs, including exploring AI solutions as needed while building dashboards and reports to monitor regulatory compliance, providing meaningful reporting to internal stakeholders.

Act as subject matter expert on architecture, logic, and workflows for E‑Mobility Salesforce platform tools.

As needed, train and support program participants using program and services platforms and tools to manage their projects.

As needed, train and support internal E‑Mobility team users, including business development and program management teams, on best practices and usage of program and services platforms and tools.

As needed, support procurement and management of third‑party consultants and technology providers.

Work effectively and lead cross‑functional teams responsible for new department initiatives that may arise from time to time.

Provide problem solving and strategic support related to platforms and tools for the department.

Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with company policy and governmental regulations.

Qualifications Required Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of work experience.

Preferred Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines and 3 years of utility or other business work experience building tools and reports. Experience with creation of dashboards, reports, and analytical reporting is a plus.

Master’s Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines and 2 years of utility or other business work experience building tools and reports. Experience with creation of dashboards, reports, and analytical reporting is a plus.

Relevant Work Experience

Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, required.

Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues who have a diverse set of experiences and approaches in order to drive business results, required.

Excellent organizational capabilities and proven successful management of detailed, complex initiatives, required.

Experience managing successful implementation of IT projects, preferred.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), preferred.

Proficient in PowerBI or other data visualization tool, preferred.

Experience in utilizing AI tools and developing effective prompts for analytical applications, preferred.

Strong communications, presentation, writing and analytical skills, preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

Driver’s License Required.

Additional Physical Demands

The selected candidate will be assigned a system emergency assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non‑business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able and willing to travel within company service territory, as needed.
