The Superintendent - Public Construction will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within the desired timeframe and budget. This role is based in Boston and requires expertise in managing public construction projects.

Description

Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain project schedules.

Monitor safety regulations and ensure all team members adhere to site safety protocols.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports and schedules.

Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to provide updates and address concerns.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to the job site.

Resolve any on-site conflicts or challenges to ensure smooth operations.

Profile A successful Superintendent - Public Construction should have:

Previous experience managing public construction projects.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management tools.

A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple tasks.
