
Brand and Marketing Intern

About TLG: The Leo Group (TLG) is a boutique creative fashion hub based in Tribeca, NYC. We specialize in 360° brand building for small luxury and next-gen fashion labels—think strategy, creative, production, e-comm, influencer marketing, and more. Our roster includes both independent client brands and in-house creator-led labels that live at the intersection of fashion, content, and commerce.
We're tight-knit, fast-moving, and deeply embedded in the cultural landscape. Whether we're launching a new brand, styling a shoot, or hand-delivering a curated gift to a top creator, we do it with taste, precision, and a whole lot of passion.
Role Overview: As our Brand & Marketing Intern, you’ll be an integral part of a small but mighty team working directly with both the Brand Manager and Founder of TLG. You’ll get hands‑on exposure to the inner workings of fashion marketing—assisting across campaigns, sample tracking, content creation, influencer seeding, and more.
This is a high‑touch, high‑impact role for someone who wants to understand every layer of brand building in today’s fashion world.
Key Responsibilities: Gifting & Talent Coordination
Support gifting operations across multiple TLG brands (client + in-house)
Assist with the
sample log system : tracking all gifted product, loans, returns, and placements
Coordinate and execute
hand-deliveries of gift packages
to NYC‑based creators and editors (you’ll be the face of our brands!)
Assist with pristine organization of samples, storage, and product archives
Campaign & Brand Marketing
Support brand launches, retail pop‑ups, and experiential activations
Sit in on creative brainstorms and client meetings
Help prep moodboards, decks, and strategy docs
Track campaign and social performance for reporting
Press, PR & Comms
Coordinate with our PR and talent teams to ensure timely delivery of assets and samples
Content & Creative Support
Assist on photo and video shoots (on‑set prep, steaming, styling, organization)
Help with TikTok/IG content creation, trend research, and community engagement
Retail & E‑Commerce
Collaborate on marketing support for retail moments and pop‑ups
Support e‑commerce shoots, product copy updates, and seasonal refreshes
You Are:
Fashion‑obsessed, detail‑oriented, and trend‑aware
Super organized and able to juggle multiple projects at once
Comfortable with spreadsheets and storyboards
NYC‑based (or able to be in‑office in Tribeca Mon–Fri)
A confident communicator and team player
A fast learner with a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves mindset
Excited to build something — not just observe
Bonus Points For:
Experience using Shopify, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with Gorgias or project management tools
Content creation or social media management experience
Design eye or background in fashion merchandising/styling
Prior internship or job in PR, fashion, or digital marketing
Physical Requirements:
Comfortable with lifting and transporting sample bags (up to ~15–20 lbs)
Able to be on your feet during shoots or deliveries
Willing to travel locally around NYC (mainly Manhattan/Brooklyn)
Compensation: This is an intnership for school credit only. We're flexible and open to both part‑time and full‑time arrangements.
