A well-established, growing independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its team. This role is open due to growth, offering the opportunity to step into a dynamic book of business and work alongside an experienced commercial lines team. The agency offers a collaborative environment, strong leadership, and a commitment to investing in employee development, including support for certifications, designations, and licensing. Key Responsibilities
Manage a generalist book of commercial accounts (small to middle-market) Provide A–Z servicing for assigned clients Handle renewals (with marketing support provided) Develop a strong understanding of client operations and coverage needs Maintain relationships with carriers and internal producers Deliver responsive, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required 3–5+ years of commercial lines account management experience Strong knowledge of insurance products and coverage structures Experience working with carriers and producers Ability to manage a book independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication and client relationship skills Experience with EPIC agency management system is a plus What’s Offered
