Must pass a background check for security clearance, be a U.S. citizen, and must be able to work on site in Washington, DC/Alexandria, VA. The candidate we seek will possess: Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products. Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team as well as independently on assigned projects. Ability to take creative direction from stakeholders. Ability to create highly detailed, scientifically accurate depictions of various objects, principles, plants, and animals. Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects and meeting tight deadlines. To qualify, you must have: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college. Five years of professional experience with scientific illustrations. Experience with using Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products/ digital illustration software. A background in drawing/sketching/3-D modeling preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position located at the client’s facility in Washington DC/Alexandria, VA. Ability to learn quickly, adapt, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must pass background check for security clearance. To be considered, you must submit work samples that include complex scientific, technical, or research-based information with clarity and accuracy as follows: 2-3 Scientific diagrams and schematics – biological, physical, environmental, or engineering concepts 2-3 Data-driven illustrations – processes, systems, workflows, conceptual models, etc. 2-3 Research and explanatory graphics – methods, findings, cause-and-effect relationships, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
