Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution Associate

Office Locations: Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee Quarles LLP seeks an experienced Patent Prosecution Attorney to join our national Intellectual Property in Madison, Milwaukee, or Chicago. The ideal candidate will have: A Ph.D. in biology is required, preferably with experience in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, virology, microbiology, immunology, and/or plant molecular biology/genetics 5+ years of patent prosecution experience Admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office The candidate must have a strong academic record, paired with the skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to succeed at this firm. Benefit eligibility is dependent on hours. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, education, and skills of the applicant, including book of business for more experienced roles, and other job-related factors.
