Outside Shipper - 1st Shift - Abilene Facility
Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1 st Shift Outside Shipper at our Abilene Facility.
This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Safely load GP product on a variety of different trailers
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to maintain paperwork accuracy
Must be able to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
Must be mechanically inclined
Must be open to change
Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
Strong organization and housekeeping
Experience driving a variety of different forklifts
Strong knowledge of Great Plains product structure helpful
Exhibit self‑motivation, positive attitude and be results oriented
Must have a mechanical background
