Responsibilities
Conduct detailed tax analysis for strategic planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws.
Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial data.
Prepare and review complex tax returns, declarations, and other required documents.
Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations to optimize tax liabilities and ensure full compliance.
Collaborate with finance and accounting team members to streamline tax processes, improve efficiency, and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Provide expert tax advice to senior management, helping guide strategic decisions and planning.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in tax laws and regulations, ensuring readiness for changes.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for tax-related items.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA certification highly desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting with a strong focus on general ledger management.
Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail and capacity to handle complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain complex tax concepts to non-financial colleagues.
Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
