We're seeking a detail‑oriented B2B Marketing & Sales Database Intern to join our marketing team. You'll assist with managing our CRM database and contact lists, helping ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our marketing and sales efforts. This internship provides hands‑on experience with data management and marketing technologies.
Internship Details: The internship is based in the Chicagoland area and offers an hourly pay range of $17‑22 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining our CRM database, learning data accuracy and integrity practices
Help conduct data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment activities
Support research and building of targeted contact lists based on defined criteria
Learn to manage email marketing platform features, including basic workflow setup and segmentation
Process inbound leads under supervision, gaining experience in qualification and analysis
Help track lead sources and campaign performance metrics
Process Excel and CSV files for data imports/exports
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand target audiences and campaign goals
Requirements
Incoming Junior or Senior preferred
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales or a related business or technology field
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for basic data manipulation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Eagerness to learn CRM systems and marketing automation tools
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Bonus: Interest in digital marketing, data analysis, or website development industry. No prior experience with specific CRM or marketing tools is required; we’ll provide training on all necessary platforms.
