A Day in the Life of a Traveling Commercial Electrician As a Traveling Commercial Electrician, you travel to various job sites around the Eastern United States to install and maintain branch circuits, power branch lighting systems, transformers, sub-panels, and circuit‑breakers. You easily identify problems and work tirelessly to complete the needed repairs or installations. You keep local and state building regulations in mind, especially the National Electric Code as you complete services. Whether it’s a broken fixture or a wiring remodel, you are on the ball about keeping the lights on for our clients!

Qualifications

4+ years of commercial electrical experience

A valid driver's license, and a good, insurable driving record

Trade education/apprentice transcripts (preferred)

Can travel from location to location on short notice

Can pass a background check and drug test

Can repair/replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand/power tools

Can lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, frequently bend/squat, and work on step/extension ladders

Experience in Cat5E and Cat6 cable pulling and terminations (preferred but not required)

Are you an excellent communicator, problem-solver, and team member? Are you detailed and willing to learn? Do you know your way around blueprints and technical drawings? Can you apply your strong working knowledge of conduit installation, wire pulling, and termination to every job? If so,
