The
Director of Financial Services
is responsible for the preparation of financial statements including status reports; forecasting, projections, and cash flow analysis; and the development, projection and monitoring of budgets. This role analyzes financial results to support strategic decision‑making, optimize financial performance, and ensure compliance with applicable financial and accounting standards. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director partners closely with management and department leaders while maintaining strong financial controls, transparency, and compliance within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, collaborative leadership skills, and a commitment to supporting quality care and services for seniors.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Experience in financial management, preferably within senior living, healthcare, or a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)
Strong knowledge of preparing financial statements, status reports, cost projection, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
