General Description
We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to support a recently acquired business unit as it integrates into our broader corporate organization. This role is ideal for an Human Resources professional who thrives in environments of growth and change and who can balance operational excellence with strong relationship‑building skills. The Employee Relations Specialist will serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders, helping guide the organization through cultural and structural transition. The ideal candidate brings a steady, confident presence and excels at building rapport, fostering trust, and encouraging alignment across diverse teams. They will be skilled at navigating sensitive situations, addressing concerns with fairness and clarity, and reinforcing organizational expectations in a way that supports both employees and business objectives. This position provides support across a full range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, compliance and policy administration, HR operations, and training and employee development. The Employee Relations Specialist will provide clerical and data entry support for the Human Resources Department of Eurovia Atlantic Coast. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager. Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure HRIS data integrity, serving as the primary steward of employee information throughout the business unit. Lead the hiring and onboarding process by preparing offer letters, coordinating onboarding activities, and ensuring new employees have a smooth and well‑supported introduction to the company. Oversee all employee status changes, including promotions, wage adjustments, and terminations, ensuring each action is processed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company policies. Manage unemployment claims from start to finish, including preparing documentation and coordinating hearings when required. Guide managers through the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely completion and reinforcing consistent performance management practices across the organization. Addressing employee complaints and resolving disputes between employees and management. Complete employment verifications and maintain all required HR documentation to support compliance and operational readiness. Support immigration‑related processes and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate administration for affected employees. Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns promptly, conducting fair investigations, and supporting managers in resolving issues in alignment with company policies. Coordinates the filing and archiving of personnel documents for employees. Processes “years of service” awards. Enters training hours into HRIS System. Assists with the planning and organization of Company events. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualification Requirements

Demonstrated ability to provide efficient, professional operational support, including strong problem‑solving skills. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as SAP. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. Physical Demands
Frequent ability to sit for prolonged periods of time; Ability to drive a company vehicle for various recruiting events. Frequent ability to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; Frequent ability to operate standard office equipment, using hand and arm dexterity; Frequent ability to navigate through office environment, including periodic use of stairs and/or elevator, as needed; Infrequent ability to lift general office documents and materials, up to 10 pounds; Frequent vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work generally is performed in an office environment, although periodic visits to construction sites and manufacturing facilities may be required. Noise level in the typical office work environment is quiet. Demonstrates Safety 1st
