HealthTalk is looking for an experienced and motivated
Remote Product Owner for Healthcare Apps
to lead the development and management of our innovative healthcare applications. In this role, you will work closely with a small, senior team of designers, developers, and healthcare professionals to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure that our products meet the needs of users and stakeholders.
This is not a traditional Scrum role. We develop AI-driven (“vibe coding”) with a lean team – no formal sprints, but iterative, hands‑on, and pragmatic. Your passion for healthcare technology and user‑centered design will drive the success of our digital health solutions.
Responsibilities
Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals, in close collaboration with the CTO/owner
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features
Manage the product backlog based on customer feedback, market insights, and business goals
Maintain direct contact with customers (healthcare organizations): onboarding, support, and feedback conversations
Manage stakeholder relationships for Medrecord's innovation projects and coordinate the development activities that arise from them
Conduct market and user research to inform product decisions
Help the CTO/owner maintain structure, oversight, and quality in a fast-moving, AI-driven development environment
Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously improve the application
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards
Act as the liaison between technical teams, customers, and healthcare stakeholders
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in healthcare or related domains
Strong understanding of healthcare industry, regulations, and user needs
Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage the product backlog effectively
Hands‑on mentality: equally comfortable in a customer conversation as in a technical discussion
Experience working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams
Experience with AI tools and/or AI-driven development processes is a plus
Technical background or familiarity with healthcare app development is a plus
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Healthcare, IT, or related field
