Open to current high school juniors or graduating seniors from the School District of Palm Beach County, as well as School District of Palm Beach County graduates who are currently enrolled in a college or university.
Interns earn $15 per hour.
Seven-hour work days in June and July 2026.

Job Description Most internships have you watching from the sidelines. Not this one. You'll be out in the field - literally - touring active construction sites, meeting the entrepreneurs building something real, and helping connect small businesses to opportunities with the District.
You will scout and recruit new vendors, inspect District construction sites, and dig into data to source and attract new vendors to seek opportunities with the District. This internship is for you if you're the type who'd rather be doing than observing. If you're outgoing and passionate about helping people succeed, then come join the Office of Small Business Development.
Key Performance Duties
Construction - Field & Site Work: Conducting regular walkthroughs and inspections of active District construction sites also documenting site conditions, progress, and compliance observations.
Goods & Services: Vendor Recruitment: Identifying and sourcing small and local businesses that could qualify to become District certified SBE's.
Small Business Support and Connectivity: Helping small businesses understand how to access contracting or procurement opportunities with the District.
Data & Performance Analysis: Preparing reports or summaries for internal stakeholders.
